About Me
I am a children's literature enthusiast who lives in Rottingdean, near Brighton in the southeast of England (home to Rudyard Kipling and Enid Bagnold). I have edited children's books, I run children's literature conferences, and am involved in various organisations and activities (like teaching creative writing workshops). You can find all the official stuff on my website: LauraAtkins.com. Originally from Berkeley, California, I married an Englishman and seem to be stuck here, at least for the moment. This blog will discuss children's books, children's publishing, academia and children's books, and my attempts at becoming a freelance children's book specialist. To infinity and beyond!
