Technology and children's books
Sorry - another long break between posts. But I'm interested in the ideas of bringing technology and the children's book together. Had a conversation last week with Mick from Vivid Interactive. They are developing digital content - sometimes with publishers (such as Scholastic), but also creating some original work. This is aimed at the education market, where technology is a key area for kids. But we were discussing how slow book publishers have been to really engage with new technologies in the content of what they produce. More has been done on the marketing side.

Hi Tockla,
If you're interested in technology and books, please visit http://www.LetsBeCreative.org.
I have a book/cd/e-book/audio book/video book/iPod download there that is darn interesting, and also motivates children to be literate in several languages--all through discovery and entertainment, no teaching.
Let me know what you think.
